AadhaarStars was an interactive promotional campaign by UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) to educate masses about the benefits and importance of Aadhaar.
Residents were invited to record a small video of their child’s appeal to the masses, talking about benefits of Aadhaar and urging everyone to get enrolled for Aadhaar.
This campaign was carried out in the form of a social media campaign on UIDAI’s official Facebook page.
UIDAI has received the entries. Now their selection committee will review all entries received and shortlist the winning ones. Shortlisted entries will be announced on social media and finalists will be contacted by email or phone by 15th May.
It is to note that UIDAI is accepting one entry per child. You can send separate entries for each child through email or phone by 15th May. Further, the entries for AadhaarStars Campaign are already closed by 30th April 2017 which initially got started on 8th April 2017.
If the child’s entry is shortlisted, the prize will be transferred only to Aadhaar-linked bank account. Those who have not linked it yet should link their account with Aadhaar as soon as possible. You may get in touch with your bank to know the process.
Top 20 videos will receive a cash prize of Rs. 5000 each and next 50 videos will receive a cash prize Rs 1000 each. All cash prizes will be transferred to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of the participants/ their family member only.
