The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Organisation has directed the pensioners to submit their digital life certificate (jeevan pramman) with finger print / IRIS scan by April 30 to enable them to continue to receive the pension.
A press release of Namrata Patil, Assistant PF Commissioner, issued here on Tuesday said that as per the instructions of Central Provident Fund Commissioner, it is mandatory for all the pensioners of EPS’95 who are desirous of continuing the pension of the said scheme to furnish their digital life certificate by April 30.
The pension in respect of the 27,534 of the 52,330 pensioners attached to the EPF sub-regional office here, who have not submitted digital life certificate as stated above so far, will be stopped from May if they failed to submit the digital life certificate with finger print / IRIS scan by April 30.
The pensioners, who had already submitted the life certificate in paper (document) form, are required to submit the same through the digitally Aadhaar linked life certificate (jeevan pramman) for the continuation of their pension, the release said.
For submission of the digital life certificate, the pensioners can contact their bank branches, common service centres, EPFO Salem, Erode and Krishnagiri district offices or Tamil Nadu E-Sevai Maiyam located in taluk / Collector’s offices, the release added.
