BJP National Secretary and MP Maheish Girri has organised Aadhaar and LED camps at different wards of East Delhi to provide people with easy access to get identity cards, as well as to motivate people to lower electricity consumption.
Statistics reveal that at present, East Delhi has one of the highest growth index among the various constituencies in Delhi. In this backdrop, Maheish Girri has been carrying out a host of activities to enhance the lives of the public at different wards of East Delhi, which include large scale Aadhaar Card and LED Light camps.
These Aadhaar Card camps and LED camps were started from September 4 and 17 respectively.
Till date 18 Aadhaar camps have been organised at various locations, including Bhogal, Dharampura, New Ashoka Nagar, Mandawali, Shakarpur, Laxmi Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Vishwas Nagar, Okhla Khichdipur and Jhilmil, benefitting more than 3,500 people.
Similarly, a total of 10 LED camps have taken place till now in various wards including Kishan Kunj, Jhilmil, IP Extension, Khichdipur, New Ashoka Nagar, Vinod Nagar and Dharampura. Till date, the LED camps have benefitted over 550 people. The Parliamentarian has on various occasions promoted the use of LED lights, explaining that that LED lights not only help in bringing down electricity bills, but also lower the electricity consumption, directly benefitting the country.
Both the Aadhaar and LED camps will be continued on a long term basis, with the aim of covering all areas of East Delhi.
