Jammu Crime Branch books Govt officials in fake identity cards to Rohingya family

The sleuths of Crime Branch Jammu today booked officials of Revenue, CAPD and UIDAI for issuing fake ration cards, PRCs and Aadhar Card to a Rohingya family here.
A case has been registered against one Sayed Hussain, his family members and the officials of the Revenue, CAPD and UIDAI department, who are allegedly involved in issuance of fake PRCs, Ration Cards and Adhaar Cards to Rohingyas.

Case under sections 420, 465, 466, 467, 468, 471,120-B of RPC are registered against them.

As per the case Crime Branch on September 10, 2016 on a complaint made by the Additional District Magistrate, Jammu with some enclosures, stated that as intimated by the Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ration Cards and Adhaar Cards have been issued to Rohingya Muslim Refugees namely Sayed Hussain and his seven family members fraudulently.

The Rohingya and family was residing at Dogra Hall, Jammu for the last 15 years in a Jhuggi and has obtained Ration card.

During enquiries it was found that he and his family being Rohingya Muslim Refugees of Myanmar (Burma) had obtained the documents through fraudulent means as they had got their names registered in NPR Census 2011, as such the matter is required to be investigated etc.

Crime Branch, however, during the course of verification found that one Sayed Hussain, S/o Mohammad Sadiq, a Burmese national presently residing at Belicharana area by encroaching the state land is in possession of Ration card and an Adhaar card, voter list and has raised a residential house with two shops on Khasra No. 235 Rakh Raipur which is JDA land.

The accused and his family members being foreign nationals managed and procured fake and fabricated ration card and Adhaar cards, Census records and PRC in connivance with the Revenue, CAPD and UIDAI officials merely in order to cause wrongful gains to themselves and wrongful loss to the state by resorting to fraudulent means.UNI VBH PY SHK 2043
