The NEET PG exam 2017 commenced on December 5 and will end December 13. The admit card for NEET PG 2017 was issued to candidate once registration & scheduling process. According to a report number of candidates from Marathwada appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) were shocked when the examination centre rejected their e-Aadhaar as identity proof. Candidates who have cleared passed MBBS from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. The centre had also received the directive from the board a couple of days after the exam commenced on November 30. Aspirants are required to that the NEET-PG 2017 exam is a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma courses of 2017 admission session.
The authorities at the Aurangabad NEET-PG exam centre were issued a directive by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), two days after the exams started, that e-Aadhaar would be considered invalid. The aspirants who will complete their internship after March 31, 2017 or likely to complete after March 31, 2017. Candidates are required to not apply in NEET-PG 2017 as they shall be ineligible to participate at any stage of the admission process.
The candidates were required to submit a duly signed affidavit declaring that he/she was nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats). The examination will be a multiple choice questions exam delivered on computer based platform (CBT). The exam will comprise of 300 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only. The time allotted is 3 hour 30 minutes. Aspirants are required to note that the weightage of MCQs in each specialty is indicative and purely provisional. There will be no negative marking.
This year the merit for State quota seats for the NEET PG will be determined by concerned State authority using NEET-PG scores and as per applicable Regulation and/or their eligibility criteria, Guidelines, reservation policy, benefits for In-service candidates, rural posting (if applicable) etc. Aspirants are required to note that the Demo test is a sample of computer-based exam that is intended to familiarise candidates with the navigation and functionality of the NEET-PG.
