Aadhaar training for Master Trainers in Odisha capital city from Feb 1

Bhubaneswar: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in association with the State Electronics & IT Department will organise a three-day training programme for Master Trainers on Aadhaar seeding, authentication and Aadhaar updation at the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) office here from February 1.

Development Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary, Finance R Balakrishnan will inaugurate the training programme in the presence of Electronics & IT Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena and other senior officials. UIDAI  Deputy Director General Rami Reddy will preside over the meeting.

As many as 80 participants from 10 districts will be trained at the programme. These trainers are expected to impart training to various field functionaries involved in Aadhaar seeding and authentication in the respective districts.

The training is significant as the next logical step after Aadhaar enrolments is to utilize Aadhar in service delivery which involves seeding and authentication.
